#1 · Apr 30, 2017 Hi all, Needs some help here This morning i tried to unlock my 159 with my remote key, but nothing. I replaced battery - nothing. Tried 2nd Key - nothing. I can unlock manually and have checked the relevant fuse on the panel - (to the lower right of the steering wheel).
I have fix almost all the problems with the car, except the keyless remote. I turned off the alarm and remote about 2 years ago with the little key. The car sat for 9 months without a battery in it after the valves and pistons hit. I turned the alarm on in the trunk and nothing seems to work.
If your Stelvio has push button start/stop feature, your vehicle may not start due to weak key fob battery and a 'key not detected' alert message may be displayed in the instrument cluster. Don't worry, you can still start your vehicle, the immobilizer is controlled by a passive transponder.
The most common cause of key fob not working in Alfa Romeo Giulia is dead battery. But the remote key can also stop working due to worn buttons, poor battery contact, water damage, defective key fob, receiver module issues, signal interference, dead 12 volt battery, and unpaired key requiring reprogramming. 1.
Electronic key not recognised. Hi, Went out to my Brera just now and found it with both windows fully down. I have seen this before when I accidentally hit some combination on the key fob, so I tried to use the key in the ignition to allow me to put the windows back up.
